"Same Love"

Written by Salkis Re

It used to be That all that I would needIs to stretch out my arms to get a hug.

People only play games

And pretend to act like they're in love.

Why can't it be

As simple as it was

In my first years here on this earth?

When every one that surrounded me

Patiently anticipated and couldn't wait for the day of my birth..

It's confusing now to watch people you love

Suddenly stop doing what seems so easy to say,

And I wonder what I did

To deserve what they give

and why their love now feels like its changed..
